This was a fun one. I used a whipped topping mix that I used to get in St. Louis. Unfortunately I don't have access to it here. Maybe I should check online.

Baby shower

This was for a baby shower for my husband's co-worker.

Brobee

This was Adam's second birthday cake. It's Brobee from Yo Gabba Gabba. He loved the cake but wouldn't eat it when it came time. He said, "No eat Brobee." I guess Brobee is our friend, not our food. He did have a piece a few days later, but had to be coaxed.

Dabbling in Fondant

This is a cake I made for the church potluck. It's the second time I've tried using fondant. It's a marshmallow fondant. It was fun to do. Next time I'm going to be more picky about the shape of the cakes being more perfect. All in all it was good.


This is a small chunk of leftover freezer cake that I tried out my new-found fondant on. This was the first time I've ever used fondant.
